Scholarships for Hardship Assistance Scheme - 1000 Awards

Eligibility Criteria

An applicant must:

1. be a Fiji citizen.
2. be ordinarily resident in Fiji for at least three (3) years before the award commencement date unless determined by the Service or delegated authority on case-by-case basis.
3. have attempted year one (1) studies privately and have at least attained 50% pass rate.
4. be enrolled for a Diploma Level 5 or Higher Education Level 7 programmes at an eligible institution.
5. submit programme audit which confirms that you have attempted year one (1) studies as per full academic load requirement.
6. be enrolled as a full-time student on full academic load and not be engaged in any form of employment.
7. not be an existing TSLS sponsored/funded student or sponsored through any other agency.
8. not be on an existing bond service.
9. not have a combined parental income of more than $150,000 or business net profit of more than $20,000 unless allowed by means testing.
